JOSAA has announced the results for Round 6—the final round for IITs and NIT+ admissions. Candidates can now check their status by logging into josaa.nic.in using their JEE Main/Advanced credentials and downloading the allotment letter. This round concludes seat allocations through JOSAA, although a separate CSAB special round will follow for NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.
Pay Fees & Report Online (July 16–20)
If you receive an allotment, you must complete the **online reporting process between July 16 and July 20, 2025**. This includes:
- Paying the **Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF)**: ₹15,000 for SC/ST/PwD/EWS/PwD categories and ₹30,000 for others (includes a ₹5,000 processing charge), with the fee adjusting against your institute’s admission charges .
- Uploading all required documents (e.g., allotment letter, academic certificates, ID proof).
No Floating or Sliding—This is Final
Note: Round 6 does **not allow float or slide options**—your allotted seat is final. IIT allotments cannot be cancelled, while NIT+ candidates may withdraw by July 21 and answer any queries by July 22 to remain eligible for the upcoming CSAB round .

Candidates without seats or unsatisfied with their allotment can register for the **CSAB Special Round** starting July 30, 2025, via csab.nic.in, which fills remaining seats in NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs .
